A Virtual Dedicated Server (VDS) platform gives you your own isolated Windows server running inside a larger Windows Server. “VDS Hosting” allows each website to operate with its own file structure, its own server processes, and its own environment. Within a single physical machine, Virtual Dedicated Servers have their own server software that runs inside an isolated file directory and provides a separation for each website. Server security on a VDS server is greatly increased because of the separation of VDS hosting accounts. Even if a VDS site was compromised the damage would be strictly limited to that VDS and would not have the ability to effect any other VDS on the physical server.
