DATA CENTERS
General Specifications
We maintain our major operations within Level3 World Class facilities. These facilities are built on raised floors with central under-travel air conditioning and cooling. Pre-load dual zone fire suppression systems are fairly standard in all our gateway facilities. Our Tustin, California facility alone carries over 80,000sqft of raised floor. We also have operations within MultiPoint, Equinix, Switch&Data, and PAIX facilities as well. Each of these facilities are also equipped in a similar manner.
Power
For Prime Internet even our fail-over systems are redundant. Our Tustin facility pull main AC from 2 different public grids with automatic tie-breakers in place. For backup power we have 8 massive diesel generators can run the whole facility for 72 hours on reserve fuel already in the tanks and emergency refueling contracts exist to refuel them if needed. The cooling systems are setup in a staggered offset line to ensure standby cooling in the event of any equipment failures.
Security
Biometric finger print and issued access cards are required to gain access to any of our facilities. In addition to this there are cameras that monitor all activity of everyone entering, remaining in, or leave the facility. Each cabinet and cage remain locked at all times.
Reliability
We deploy dual routers and dual internal BGP links within the facility. The main GSR routers within the facility are linked directly to our routers in fail-over mode. This means that if we have a router issue we can still remain fully functional.
Connectivity
Our Tustin, California gateway has 16Gigs of existing capacity, and fiber run to increase that to over 24 Gigs in just days if needed. All our racks and cabinets are wired with 2 GigE fiber links to each front end mount. This means that there is little need to ever have to upgrade a physical rack to reach a customers capacity needs.
